I have a multiplicity of orthopaedic conditions in my knees, toes, back and shoulder and ,after 16 operations ,I realise I am not going to improve significantly at my age. Mr. Ahmed was receptive, understanding and very willing to give useful advice within the limits of my expectations. He encouraged me to develop proven strategies to improve my mobility and I left with increased motivation to maximise my efforts to sustain mobility for as long as possible. I felt we were on the same wavelength.

Mr Ahmed was kind, funny and put me at my ease before my knee replacement at the Alex. The op itself went really well and he explained everything about my surgery the following day. At my 6 week checkup, he was again very reassuring and patient as well as very funny which made the whole experience so much easier. I would recommend Mr Ahmed to anyone who needs a TKR.
